Hi, I’m Tyronne O’Grady — founder, and guide behind Wildbound Africa.
My passion for the African bush, wildlife, adventure, and the outdoors has shaped my life for as long as I can remember. From exploring remote parts of Southern Africa to spending countless hours in the wilderness, I’ve always been drawn to the raw beauty and freedom that Africa offers. Wildbound Africa was created from that passion — with the goal of sharing authentic, unforgettable experiences with people from around the world.
Over the years, I’ve travelled through countries like South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania developing a deep appreciation for Africa’s wildlife, landscapes, and people. One of the greatest adventures of my life was driving a Land Rover across Africa from South Africa to Kenya when I was 19 with no plan, no GPS and no idea about overlanding — a journey that further fueled my love for overlanding, exploration, and life in the bush.
At Wildbound Africa, my focus is on creating experiences that feel personal, adventurous, and authentic. Whether we’re tracking wildlife on safari, sitting around a fire under the stars, exploring remote wilderness areas, or fly fishing in the Mpumalanga highlands, I want every guest to leave with memories and stories that will stay with them forever.
For me, Africa is more than just a place — it’s a way of life. And I’m incredibly passionate about sharing it with others.
